Alaa Daloussi: That understanding came early in my career. I noticed that many projects were struggling, not because people weren’t working hard, but because they didn’t have the right tools. Interviewer: How do you help clients choose the right equipment for their specific project needs?

Alaa Daloussi: We start by listening. Every project is unique, with different site conditions, timelines, and goals. So we ask detailed questions to understand what the client is working on, where it’s happening, and what kind of results they expect. Once we have that picture, we recommend equipment that fits the job, not too large, not too small, but just right. We also explain how to use it and offer support if any issues come up. Our goal is to make sure the client feels confident and supported from start to finish.

Interviewer: Why do you think construction equipment plays such an important role in real estate development?

Alaa Daloussi: Because every real estate project begins with land, and preparing that land is a big task. If it isn’t done correctly, it can cause serious delays or problems later in the build. The right equipment helps get the ground ready quickly, safely, and properly. It allows developers to move from planning to building without unnecessary setbacks. Whether it’s clearing, leveling, or digging, strong equipment makes the job easier, and that smooth beginning often sets the tone for the whole project.

Alaa Daloussi: It can be busy, but these two areas actually work very well together. My experience with equipment helps me make better decisions when leading real estate projects. I know what machines are needed, how long certain phases will take, and where common issues might come up. At the same time, being involved in real estate helps me understand what builders and developers need from their equipment. It’s a two-way learning process. I stay balanced by keeping a strong team around me, setting clear priorities, and staying focused on long-term goals.

Interviewer: When you choose brands or suppliers to work with, what are the top things you look for?

Alaa Daloussi: First, I look at the quality of the product. A strong, reliable machine is the foundation. But just as important is the support behind that product. I want to work with companies that answer calls, provide fast service, and care about their clients. Finally, I look for long-term relationships. We’re not just buying machines; we’re building partnerships. If a company shares our values and delivers on their promises, that’s someone I want to work with for years to come.

Interviewer: What advice would you give to professionals who are working in tough site conditions or managing tight deadlines?

Alaa Daloussi: My advice is to take time to plan and invest in the right tools. When you’re under pressure, it can be tempting to use what’s available or take shortcuts. But those shortcuts often lead to bigger problems later. The right equipment might cost more at the start, but it saves time, reduces risks, and helps you deliver a better result. Also, talk to experts. Don’t try to do everything on your own; there are people who can guide you and help you choose smart solutions.
